Hi, Lucy from Mudtastic here. Welcome to the new Apple Tree Initiative website. Starting on Monday the 4th of May we will be regularly posting forest school resources and photos, and some links to videos on our new YouTube video channel, so come back and visit this page often, to get the latest news and activities.
Can you help me solve this puzzle?
Below is a photograph of a bird's nest in my garden. Could you find out for me what bird laid these eggs and how long they take to hatch? I had to be very careful not to disturb the nest when I photographed it and, if I know when they might hatch, I can sneak back and take a photo of the new baby birds for you. You might also like to email me to tell me what interesting wildlife you have found in your own garden, or seen from your window. Or maybe you have taken a photo you can share with us, of something you have seen in your garden or on your daily walks. Send your news and photos to me at info@appletreeinitiative.co.uk and I will feature some of these on the site. I'm afraid I might not have room for all of them!
We will also soon be inviting you to send us videos you have made, to put on our video channel, but before we do that we need to set up an easy way for you to get them to us. We will let you know when we have that sorted. Please make sure that with every photo or video you send us that contains the images or voices of adults or children, you also send us a permission form (see below to download a form and also take a look at our online safety page).
