As part of the school’s new Garden Connections project, we are eager to be in contact with senior members of the community who would be willing to share their memories of gardening, and photographs of their past or present gardens or allotments, with our young researchers at the school. Our aim is to understand how gardening has impacted on health, well-being and social connections within the community. These memories will be audio recorded for posterity and copies of photos will be archived on Winchester University’s 'Sensing Place' heritage website, via a newly developed web app. Please contact the Apple Tree Initiative team if you are interested, or know someone who might be interested in sharing their memories.
